b.mod is a young Italian producer based in Glasgow. After providing a great track such as "Plastic Bodies" in Sticky Leaks Vol.2 (STG012), he gets the main stage opening 2019 tape releases for Sticky Ground. The EP is made of 4 original tracks (Expatriate, Sly Me, Messy Streets, Diluiting Waves) + 2 remixes and its a deep trip into his very peculiar and beautifully crafted sounds. The beats are always very tight and groovy, different in each track but keeping the great flow going throughout the EP, all surrounded by particles and echoes that make b.mod's sound so recognisable and unique. All is wrapped up with Sancta Sanctorum's banging version of Expatriate and Syrette's broken and nasty rework of Messy Streets. Definitely one to dig deep.
